What Comes Next

You now have a materials plan, at least one tested worksheet, a workbook structure, and a strategy for every lesson in your course. That’s more than most course creators ever build.

Here’s what to do with it.

Immediate Next Steps

Finish your workbook. You sketched the structure in lesson 08. Now build it. Use the fillable PDF tools from lesson 06. Design consistently. Include the context, transitions, and completion tracker that turn a pile of PDFs into a companion.

Add action items to every lesson. You wrote them in lesson 10. Paste them into the actual lesson content. Make sure they’re the last thing the student reads before the “Next lesson” link.

Create your quizzes. You designed one in lesson 07. Build the rest using the same format: 3-5 questions, meaningful wrong answers, explanations for each.

Package everything. Cover image, table of contents, module sections, resource appendix. One file. Test the fillable fields on at least two devices (laptop and phone).

Quick Recap

Here’s what you learned:

  1. Materials are the bridge between watching and doing
  2. There are 7 material types, each with a specific purpose
  3. One milestone per worksheet — focus produces results
  4. Match the exercise type to the lesson goal
  5. Fillable PDFs remove friction and get used more
  6. Quizzes should teach, not just test
  7. A workbook is a product, not a pile of PDFs
  8. Swipe files need annotations, not just examples
  9. Every lesson ends with a specific action item
  10. Test with 3 real people before you launch
